Erowid.org, the website for user-submitted trip reports, hasn’t changed much in the last 30 years. It got me wondering, how long would it take to rebuild something like that? I also wonder if that data has been fed into LLMs or not. I imagine that if someone is having a bad trip, they might not be in the right headspace to browse through Erowid, but if they asked a question, it could synthesize the stories from thousands of trips to give them a crucial insight in that moment.
